Privacy Policy
Hendoyren is built to keep your conversations yours.
The short version: Hendoyren collects no personal data, has no analytics or tracking, and runs no server in the path of your real usage. Your messages go directly from your device to the OpenClaw gateway you configure.
Data we collect
None. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.
Your conversations
- Chats live on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud (CloudKit) database. They are never stored on a Hendoyren server.
- Message content is sent only to the OpenClaw gateway you configure, over your own network.
Credentials
Gateway tokens and your optional ElevenLabs API key are stored in the device Keychain (and synced through your iCloud Keychain if you enable it). They are never transmitted to us.
Camera
The camera is used only to scan a setup QR code, on-device. No images are stored or transmitted.
Optional third-party services
- ElevenLabs: if you add your own key and play a reply aloud, that text is sent to ElevenLabs to synthesize speech, under ElevenLabs' privacy policy.
- Demo backend (optional): if you pair with an invitation code, your messages are sent to a Hendoyren-operated Cloudflare Worker that proxies to Anthropic Claude Haiku solely to generate replies. Conversation content is not retained by the demo backend beyond transient processing. If you request a code via the signup form, the name, email, and reason you submit are stored only to issue and manage that code.
Children
Hendoyren is not directed to children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
